EDWARD ED AGUILLARD

Funeral services for Edward Ed Aguillard will be held on Wednesday, May 9th, 2007 at 1:00PM at St. Johns Catholic Church in Melville. The Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. James Nguyen will conduct the services.

Mr. Aguillard, 81, died Sunday, May 6th 2007,at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. He was an Agricultural teacher in the St. Landry Parish school system. He retired from Melville High School after serving as principal for 3 years. Ed was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Company F, in the 319th Infantry during WWII, was wounded in Luxemburg, Germany. He was also a member of the V.F.W and the American Legions Post 0115 in Melville. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Mr. Aguillard is survived by his wife; Willie Mae Glaser of Melville, his daughter; Jerry Dianne Evans and her husband Ronald of Zachary, sons; James Jimmy Aguillard and his wife Julie Dupont of Watson La. and Russell Mac McKinley and his wife Donna Gonsoulin of Loreauville La, a brother; Wilbur Aguillard and his wife Martha of Sugartown N. Louisiana and a sister Ruby Henke of Lake Charles, 8 grandchildren; Christopher E. Evans, Ryan Paul Evans and his wife Ashley, Lauri Ann Evans Kitchen and her husband James A. Kitchen III, Kelly Evan Aguillard, Kristen Baker and her husband Hunter, Kyle Aguillard, Kara Aguillard and Leighanne Aguillard, 3 Great-grandchildren; Bryson Paul and Dane Christopher Evans and Katlyn James Baker. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Evince and Mezile Latiolais Aguillard, his sisters; Bernice Manual and Myrza Atchity, a daughter; Linda Marie Aguillard.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Tuesday from 5PM until time of service on Wednesday, May 9th. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00PM.
