Agnes Kidder

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Francois Kidder will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in the St. Landry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Reverend James Brady will officiate the service.

Mrs. Kidder, age 73, a resident of Opelousas, LA died on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at her residence.

Agnes will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Earl John Kidder of Opelousas, LA her daughter, Melissa Kidder Brown and husband, Kurt, of Scott, LA her daughterinlaw, Felecia Bullara, of Opelousas, LA her brotherinlaw, Ronnie Kidder and his wife, Theresa, of Cecilia, LA her sisterinlaw, Merle Kidder Miller and her husband Lawrence of Leonville, LA her nieces and nephews, Jordi, Carlo, Tabitha and Shiloh Kidder and Charles Mistric. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Kidder, Owen James Kidder, Rebecca Ann Brown, Luke Patrick Brown and honorary granddaughter, Lane Grimmett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Melissa Delafosse Francois her son, Earl Bubba Kidder, Jr. her sisters, Elsie F. Collette Sarah Francois her nephew, Billy Mistric, her fatherinlaw, Meau Kidder and her motherinlaw, Celanie Lalonde Kidder.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
