Opelousas – A Memorial Service will be held for Charles “Chuck” Ray Aucoin on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Chapel in Opelousas with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Benny Reppond with conduct the service.
Mr. Aucoin, age 57, was a resident of Opelousas, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017.
Chuck loved all different types of cars and enjoyed watching westerns on TV. He loved spending time with family but especially enjoyed spending time with his kids. Chuck will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya Renee Aucoin; his sons, Cody Aucoin, Jody Aucoin and Nicholas Taylor; his daughters, Alicia Aucoin and Kellie Taylor; his brothers, David Aucoin, Micky Lavergne, Ricky Lavergne, Mitch Lavergne, David W. Lavergne, Christopher Lavergne and Jake Lavergne, Jr. and his sisters, Debbie Aucoin Leger and husband, Lambert; Teena Marie Lavergne and Francena Aucoin Fontenot. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jesslyn Aucoin, Jody Aucoin, Jr., Ashlyn Aucoin, Haven Aucoin and Keegan Aucoin; former wife and mother of Alicia, Anna Aucoin; step-mother, Sandra Aucoin; his special cousin, Jimmy Broussard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Aucoin; his mother, Joann Elter Lavergne; his son, Jeremy Keith Aucoin; and former wife and mother of Cody and Jody Aucoin, Barbara Ann Aucoin.
